Microsoft Outlook folder selection

In the Microsoft Outlook folder selection window, you can enter or browse for the Outlook folders that you want to synchronise with a phone.

For example, if you have a large number of contacts in Microsoft Outlook, you may want to speed up the synchronisation process by synchronising only certain contacts with your phone. To do this, first create subfolders under the Contacts folder in Microsoft Outlook and organise your Contact information into these subfolders. Then in the Microsoft Outlook folder selection window, browse for the specific Contacts folder you want to synchronise.

You can select one or several of the following Microsoft Outlook folders:

  • Calendar

Enter the name and path of the Outlook folder containing your Calendar information. Click the Browse… button to browse for your Calendar folder.

  • Tasks

Enter the name and path of the Outlook folder containing your Tasks information. Click the Browse… button to browse for your Tasks folder.

  • Contacts

Enter the name and path of the Outlook folder containing your Contact information. Click the Browse… button to browse for your Contacts folder.

  • Notes

Enter the name and path of the Outlook folder containing your Notes information. Click the Browse… button to browse for your Notes folder.

  • Inbox

Enter the name and path of the Outlook folder containing your e-mails. Click the Browse… button to browse for your inbox. Note that e-mail synchronisation is not available for all phone models.

Note:

Not all of the options listed above are available for all phone models. If an option is not shown, your phone model does not support synchronising the particular folder.
