Conversion options for MMS messages
Your multimedia files are converted into mobile-optimised format if you are editing messages in the Restricted or Guided mode. To select the mode, select Tools > MMS Creation Mode. Choose from the following options:

You receive a notification if the media files are not mobile-optimised, or if the amount of text on a slide exceeds 9999 characters. |

Free |
You can add files that are not mobile-optimised and the text can exceed 9999 characters. However, the message may not be viewable on all mobile devices. |

Restricted |
You can only add mobile-optimised media files. The amount of text per slide is limited to 9999 characters. |
Tip:
All conversion options contain the Use with all in this message check box. When you select it, the same conversion options are automatically used when you add more files of the same type.
Image conversion options

Format: contains the supported image formats. The default is .jpg.

Resolution: contains the options for resolution. If you select Original, the resolution is not changed in conversion. With the other options, the image is made as large as possible and keeping the original proportions. The default is Medium.

Quality: determines the compression ratio for lossy image formats such as .jpg. Lossy formats lose some of the image quality in compression. With lossless image formats, this slider is disabled and the original quality is preserved. Moving the slider to the right increases the image quality and file size. The slider’s default position is in the middle.
Music conversion options

Format: contains the supported music formats. The default is AMR.

Quality: determines the bitrate of the converted music file. The default position is in the middle.

Crop to slide duration: crops the music file automatically to fit the duration of the slide. By default, this check box is selected.
Video conversion options

Format: contains the supported video formats. The default is H.263.

Resolution: contains the options for video resolution. If you select Original, the resolution is not changed in conversion. With the other options, the video is made as large as possible and keeping the original proportions. The default value is Large.

Quality: determines the bitrate of the converted video item. The default position is in the middle.

Crop to slide duration: crops the video file automatically so that it fits the duration of the slide. By default, this check box is selected.
