Managing calls from the Contacts view

Depending on the device model and connection type you are using, you can start a phone call from the Contacts view, send a text message to a person calling you, or add a caller’s contact information into your device.

To call a contact, do either of the following:

  • Highlight a contact in the details view or thumbnail view, right-click it and select Call.

  • Double-click a contact to view the contact information, and click Call.

 

Note:

If you have saved several phone numbers for a contact, all the numbers are displayed, and you can select the number to be used.

 

To end the call, click End call on top of the phone image in Nokia Communication Centre.

To send a message to a calling contact, do the following:

  1. Click Send message on top of the phone image in Nokia Communication Centre. The message editor is opened with the caller’s contact information filled in.

  2. Write your message in the text area.

  3. Click Send message.

 

To add the caller to contacts, do the following:

  1. Click Add to contacts on top of the phone image in Nokia Communication Centre. Note that the button is not available if the caller’s contact information is already stored on your device. The contact dialog box opens.

  2. Enter the contact’s details into the fields as necessary.

  3. Click OK.
