Selecting connection types
Get Connected shows a list of the connection types available in your computer. Possible connection types are:

cable
-
infrared (IrDA)
-
Bluetooth wireless technology.
Also, please note that not all phone models support all the connection types listed in Get Connected. Refer to the user’s guide of your mobile phone for more information on the supported connection types.
If you already have an active connection and attempt to create a new connection of the same type, Get Connected asks for confirmation before it creates another connection of the same type.
Note:
If you have problems connecting your phone and PC using a certain connection type, select another connection type if it is available and supported by your phone.
