Creating and editing calendar entries
To create a calendar entry, do the following:

In the week or day view, highlight a date and time.

Select File > New > Calendar Entry > [the desired entry type].

Fill in the fields, and define the entry details as necessary.

Click OK.
To create a multiday meeting entry, do the following:

In the week view, highlight the desired start date and time, and press and hold the SHIFT key while highlighting the desired end date and time.

Press Enter.

Fill in the fields, and define the entry details as necessary.

Click OK.
Note:
All-day and multiday meeting entries, birthdays and memos do not occupy blocks of time in your calendar. Instead, they appear directly below the dates you specified in the week or day view. To widen or narrow the area reserved for these entry types, place your mouse pointer on the divider line below the area, and drag the divider line to widen or narrow the area.
Tip:
To quickly create a meeting entry in the week or day view, highlight the desired date and time, and press Enter. In the meeting editor that opens, fill in the fields and define the entry details as necessary.
To edit a calendar entry, do the following:

In the month, week, or day view, highlight the desired entry.

Click Edit.

Modify the entry details as necessary.

Click OK.
Tip:
To quickly modify the duration of a calendar entry in the week or day view, highlight the desired entry, and drag the double-headed arrow to change the start time or end time. Similarly, you can drag-and-drop a calendar entry to a new date and time.
Note:
You cannot change the entry type, for example, change a meeting into a memo.
